Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANETTE PONIATOWSKI It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Janette Poniatowski on Monday, September 7, 2009, at the Lions Manor Personal Care Home. Janette was predeceased by her mother Helena (1980), her husband Ignace (1986) and her daughter Teresa (2002). She is survived by her son Ted; her daughter Kristine (Eugene) Gadysz; seven grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Janette was born in Novgrodek, Poland on April 30, 1912. She immigrated to Canada in 1948 and worked as a seamstress at S. Stall Son Sportswear for many years. She resided in the Lions Manor from 1998 to 2006 and then in the Lions Personal Care Home. The family extends many thanks to all the dedicated staff at both places. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 11 at 12:00 noon in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., with a viewing one half hour before the service.
