GUSTAVE WILLIAM (BILL) KIESMAN At his residence on September 7, 2009, Bill, aged 69 years of Moosehorn, MB, formerly of Winnipeg, MB. Bill was born October 18, 1939 at the Kiesman family homestead in Moosehorn, MB. He received his education at the Kissman School. In 1960 he married Irene Ohanka and together they built a life in Winnipeg. Bill was a welder and fitter. He worked for Sutherland Steel, Dominion Bridge, Bohler Trailers, A-1 Welding as a shop foreman and BFI as a welder. Bill was also a handyman in his spare time and after his retirement. He renovated, painted, built decks, did mechanical work, electrical wiring and plumbing. He was happiest when he was busy. Bill was very proud of his three sons who were involved in hockey and football. He attended their games to cheer them on when it was possible for him to do so. He also loved to BBQ and cooked many a fine dinner for the family. He leaves to mourn his sons Richard, children Crystal and Jason of Winnipeg, Kevin (Robin) children Jordan, Scott and Brittany of St. Albert, AB, Rodney (Andrea), Rodney's children Dawn and Matt and Andrea's children Steve and Christy of Oakbank, MB, two great grandchildren Brenden and Brooklynn, his good friend Sandy Chase of Winnipeg, brothers Clarence (Nettie), Dorrie (Elsie), nieces and nephews Wilson (Ginny), David, Cathy, Kirk (Jackie), Ryan, Gary, Lenore along with several great-nieces and nephews and friends. Interment to follow at the Moosehorn Municipal Cemetery. A reception to follow for relatives and friends at the hall. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOME Ashern Lundar 1-204-768-2072 1-866-323-3593
