Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA SACHS February 21, 1934 - September 7, 2009 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Maria in her sleep at the St. Boniface Hospital with family by her side. She leaves behind her loving children: daughter Marina; son Detlef and wife Brenda; son Harald, wife Selma and grandsons, Eric and Alex. She is predeceased by Herbert, her loving husband of 50 years. Maria was born in Cottbus, Germany. She was a proud Canadian citizen who worked in nursing and child care. She loved children and spending time with her family at their cottage near Lac Du Bonnet. Thank you to the St. Boniface staff for their excellent care and support. A private family service has been planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Mutti, Oma, we will miss you dearly and will hold you forever in our hearts.
