BORDEN LASKO It is with deep sadness that we announce Borden Lasko, passed away on September 4, 2009, with his loving wife at his side, after a lengthy illness. Borden passed away at the Riverview Health Center at the age of 83. He will be lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts. He is survived by his wife, Annette; children, Steve (Monique), Walter (Inge), Wayne (Lynne), Jim, and Joe (Ali); grandchildren Riley, Darcy, Shantel, Chelsea, Tori, Rydell (Angie), Cody, Jenny, Calvin, Shantelle, Danielle, and Ashley. Sisters Olga and Stella, brothers Walter, and John, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Borden was predeceased by his first wife Jean (Dolly), his parents Jocephine and Steve Lasko, sister Vera, brothers Taras, Mike, and Bill. Borden was a kind and generous soul, who loved to play Bingo. A million thanks go to the many doctors, nurses, and all the caregivers who so caringly looked after Borden. As per Borden's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will be held at a later date.
