LAWRENCE CHARLES ARCHER September 24, 1930 - September 6, 2009 Peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2009 Lawrence passed away at East Gate Lodge at the age of 78 years. Lawrence will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Remaining to forever cherish Lawrence's memory are his three children, Ray Archer (Cyndi), Pat Archer (Brenda), Val Lange (Rick); son-in-law Wes Lange; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers Stan (Florence) Archer, Wes (Nell) Archer, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Wilma in 2008. Lawrence was born on September 24, 1930 in Dauphin, MB. He married the love of his life Wilma on June 15, 1951 in Dauphin MB. Lorne and Wilma journeyed through the province (Dauphin, Brandon, Neepawa, St. Pierre and Beausejour) pursuing his career with the Manitoba Hydro, settling in Beausejour in 1964. Lawrence's funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Paul's United Church, 730 James Street, Beausejour, Manitoba. Interment will follow in the Beausejour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to East Gate Lodge, P.O. Box 1690, Beausejour MB, R0E 0C0.
