CORA E. HASLUND (nee Boen) Cora passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the age of 91. Born in Sturgis, Saskatchewan, October 27, 1917. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Roy Haslund, her mother and father, two sisters, Lila Beam and Vera Dreeshen, three brothers, Johnnie, Gordon and Allen Boen. Surviving are her son Brian, three sisters, Edna Stennis, Irene Orr and Bernetta Tilbert, three brothers, Eugene, Dennis and Marlan Boen as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, also survived by sisters-in-law, Joyce Bruce, and Edith Hansen and families. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow.
