GEORGE M. WILTSHIRE March 17, 1932 - September 4, 2009 Peacefully at home, surrounded by the loving care of his family, George Wiltshire passed away at the age of 77. He was predeceased by his youngest son, Glenn. George will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Jean; his sons, Randy (Laurie) and Warren (Donna); his grandchildren, Marnie, London (Margaret), David and Calais; his great-grandchildren, Kyle, Ethan and Myrddin; and foster grandchildren, Ian and Shirley. He also leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his loss. George was a wonderful loyal husband and family man. He was devoted to loving, caring for, and helping his family and extended family in many ways. He was always the first person that would be there to help a family member in need. George was born in Manitoba and he enjoyed exploring his province on a regular basis by taking leisurely car rides, or spins , with his wife Jean at his side. He loved spending time with his family. George and Jean celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends this year. A private family memorial has already taken place, as was George's request. Someday I'll fill in the lines when he and I are free. And we'll walk in the sunshine George and me. - G. Jones.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • George knew his sons loved him, his middle boy would always want to go with him to work, weather on a post office job in The Pas, MB or the north pole, it was just how that Boy worked, he just loved his dad and wanted to know everything that his Dad did in the housing industry... The oldest boy was a sports fan the would sit and watch the games Together and have a few pops...I think club or old Vienna beer. Then to Jets Games. The youngest son would play connect 4 at the table , desperately trying to put with George the fox, we will see you at the resurrection, at which I want so much to welcome you back to the new Eden, earthly paradise. - Posted by: Louis (Best friend) on: Apr 02, 2025
