Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM DONALD SUTTON C.D. On Monday, September 7, 2009, our beloved Willy passed away at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. He was born in Emo, Ont. on January 10, 1942. At the age of 17, Willy enlisted in the Navy, serving out of Halifax. He later transferred to the RCHA, then RCEME where he served as a weapons technician. On retiring after 25 years service, Willy began a second career as maintenance supervisor with Extendicare in Winnipeg, retiring in May 2000. Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Margaret; his children Bill and Wanda; stepchildren Ken and Tina (Dean); grand-children, Sheldon and Cassandra (and their mother Lisa), Garrett, Sarah and Kayla; brother Art (Linda); sisters, Elaine, Jackie (Raymond) and Barbara (Terry); many loving nieces and nephews and countless good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Gladys and Laurie; brothers Gerry, Bobby and Ron; sisters, Lauris Ann and Jeanne. We will always remember Willy's sense of humour and the gift of laughter that he shared with all. As per his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Should friends and family so wish, donations may be made in Willy's name to The Reh-fit Cenre Inc., 1390 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. R3M 3V8.
