DEO DEO July 8, 1931 - September 11, 2009 With great sadness the family of Deo Deo announces his sudden and peaceful passing after a brief illness on September 11, 2009 at the Grace General Hospital. Deo was born in Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara, Guyana on July 8, 1931. He emigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1994. He enjoyed watching all sports especially cricket. His greatest enjoyments were with his grandkids, Chris and Jess. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years Dhanmatie; children, Indra (Rudolph), Sunil (Shalo), Chandra (Dewan), Tara (Archie); grandchildren, Vimmy (Terri), Christopher, Romesh, Navin and Jessica; greatgrandson Brandon; sister Parbatie of Guyana; sisters-in-law Doris and Chano; brothers-in-law Walter and Prahalad as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, and healthcare aids of 3 North for their excellent and compassionate care. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Rest in Paradise.
