MARY NARYNSKI (CHORNOPYSKI)
Born: Feb 11, 1932
Date of Passing: Sep 11, 2009
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY NARYNSKI (nee CHORNOPYSKI) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Narynski. Mom passed away peacefully on September 11, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mom was born on the family farm in Sundown, Manitoba, on February 11, 1932. Her parents George and Verna, husband Joseph, and brothers Nick, John, Peter, Bill predecease her. Mom leaves behind her children, Patrick (wife Dale), Joseph (wife Kathleen), and Pamela. Also surviving is her only grandchild Jennifer (husband Blaine) and their daughter Charli, extended family members, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom worked hard to make a life for us, working at the Northgate Copa, Ranch House, Club Morocco, managed the restaurant at the Princess Hotel in Transcona, and finally at Ricki's Warehouse where she retired in 1997. Mom loved to garden and play bingo, and anyone who knew her would attest that she made the best dill pickles, perogies, and cabbage rolls, which was always part of our family gathering on Christmas Eve. Aside from her children, who were the loves of her life, Mom had great affection for her bird Toni, and dog Max, who pretty much ruled the house. Our family would like to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for the love and care our Mom received over the past two years. We also express our gratitude to the paramedics, ER and U2 4th floor staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, and in particular, nurse Connie and Dr. Finlayson. As per Mom's request cremation has taken place, with a private family ceremony and interment in Sundown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society. We feel so fortunate to have been blessed with a loving Mother and will miss her deeply. Rest in peace, we love you.
