JULES H. DESAUTELS February 13, 1927 - September 12, 2009 Peacefully on September 12, 2009, with his wife at his side, Jules Desautels died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 82 years. He leaves his wife of 44 years Marie-Ange (nee Morin), also his daughter Carole and husband Colin, his two brothers Ephrem (Lucy) and Ernest (Marguerite); three sisters Irma (Alain) Remillard, Anita (Raymond) Cyr and Simone (Marcel) Comeault; two sisters-in-law Madeleine (Edgar) Daigneault and Odile (George) Langelier; three brothers-in-law George Morin, Lucien (Eva) Morin and Arthur (Evelyn) Morin, numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father Cléophas and mother Alice (nee Lansard). Jules was born in Ste. Anne, MB and was known for his inventions, joie de patenter ; he enjoyed hunting and his passion was ice fishing, catching over 1000 fish in his 20 plus years, making his own ice fishing auger and accessories. Funeral mass for Jules will be celebrated in the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Viewing will take place prior to the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jules' nephews. Rest in Peace Dad.
