RICHARD (RICK) LEA GERALD ANDERSON February 4, 1955 - September 11, 2009 (Correction of Church Address) In celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Richard (Rick) Lea Gerald Anderson, born February 4, 1955 and died suddenly on September 11, 2009. Rick will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life and wife of 33 years, Dianne; their children, Ayoka (John), Joseph, Ben, Hannah and their spiritual children Sekou, Malcolm and Kordell. Rick was predeceased by his father Neil Lennart Anderson; and is survived by his mother Betty (Bert); his siblings Cyrena (Ken), Neil (Vera), Mark (Carmen) and Lisa; his many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was an avid outdoorsman, but he will be remembered most for his love for his Saviour Jesus Christ and his passion for his family. The family appreciates the compassion shown by the staff of the Victoria General Hospital and the University of Manitoba Gym. Funeral Service for Richard will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd at 1:00 p.m. with viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
