ADELE RIVARD Adele Marie Rivard, born October 6, 1923, passed away at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, MB on September 12, 2009 at the age of 85. Adele was predeceased by her daughter Lea in 2003. Her children Elaine Riddle and her husband Bob, David Rivard and his wife Carol, and Doreen Rivard and her partner Andre; her grandchildren Bonnie, Sandra, Danny, Stefan, Colleen, Eric and Mike; and her seven great-grandchildren survive her. Also surviving are her sisters Irma and Bernice, and her brother Lucien. She will be remembered by her extended family, friends and neighbours. Adele was a strong woman and a very hard worker, devoted to her family and her faith. She was the center of the family, keeping in touch with everyone and helping us all to keep in touch with each other as the family spread out across the country and around the world. A memorial service for Adele will be held on Saturday, September 19 in Ste. Amelie at 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
