WILLIAM ALAN NIMS (BUD) October 1, 1943 - September 12, 2009 Bud was relieved from pain early September 12, 2009 with his faithful and loving wife Mary Ann at his side. He was predeceased by his mother Fran and father Roy. He is survived by Mary Ann, wife of 25 years; daughter Michelle (Jerry), granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca of Wisconsin; sisters, Judy and Penny (Gord); nephew Michael; niece Tanya and numerous in-laws in Calgary and his furry friends Bailey, Cleo, Minow and Momma Cat. Bud loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were his passion with hunting trips lessening each year as to avoid hurting the animals. He loved all animal species and tried to save them all. As a young man, Bud worked in the paper mill in Kenora, later changing his profession to plasterer. Bud was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed. At his request cremation has taken place and no service will be held now. A celebration of his life will take place in Calgary at a later date for family and close friends.
