SHIRLEY JEANNE FLEURY October 4, 1952 - September 14, 2009 Peacefully on September 14, 2009 after a very short battle with colon cancer, Shirley, aged 56, beloved wife, mother, daughter, grams and friend passed away at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB with her loving husband by her side. Her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband of 26 years Carl; her mother Denise; her three children Melissa (Norm), Melanie (Joe), Michael (Charla); grandchildren Jessica, Bailey, Hailey, Allie. She will also be missed by her brother Dwayne (Suzanne), sister-in-law Vivian, as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her father James, her brother Quincy and her son-in-law Richard. The entire family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion given to Shirley. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at New Life Church, 6106E Hwy # 67, Stonewall, MB at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited immediately following the service to the Royal Canadian Legion, 459 Main St., Stonewall for a celebration of Shirley's life. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in her honour to CancerCare Manitoba. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
