SIMONE MARIE CHAMPAGNE (nee BONIN) Simone passed away on August 28, 2009 at 82 years of age in Oakville, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Louis Etienne Champagne and mother of Louis Wilfrid Champagne, Simone is predeceased by her mother Dianna Bonin (Neveu), father (Joseph) Wilfrid Bonin and sisters, Irene Lavallee and Yvonne Roscoe. Surviving is her son Louis, his wife Mary (Weedmark) and granddaughter Laura Vince (Luke) and great-granddaughter Skyla. Friends and relatives will remember Simone's many abilities and accomplishments: Acting, Costume and Directing; her support and involvement in the performing arts; and she was instrumental in the creation of the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. Memorial visitation will be held at the Green Acres Funeral Home, 1 Green Acres Lane, Hwy. #1 E inside the Perimeter on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. and a reception at the same locale.
