Oscar and his awesome wife Mac, are always on my mind still after many years. Oscar was THE most pleasant person you could ever be around. He would take me quite often for lunch where he worked and learned his great skill at carpentry. They let me stay there for a couple of weeks a couple of summers. I remember clear as a bell, them showing the utmost of respect when Elvis Presley died. Neat story, but all his stories were neat! A super cool guy who probably invented cool, and was too humble to show, or know, it. Thanks so much for your wisdom, to both of you. A lifetime of learning I wish the whole world could have benefited from. Love you Oscar, and Mac, and family. This quote is mine, but the basis is from Mac. For the haters and rude people that steal goods and hearts, and belief in mankind. "Your ignorance and arrogance will come to pass at the Gates, if you have not got past them in the present." Einar Johanson RIP, you both deserve it! - Posted by: Einar Johanson (Great nephew ) on: Aug 02, 2023
