Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDAL THORSTEIN HALLGRIMSON Peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital on Thursday September 17, 2009 at the age of 91 years, Lindal Thorstein Hallgrimson, of Winnipeg, formerly of Glenboro, MB. Lindal leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Emma (nee Olson); four children, Gloria Laughlin of Ladner BC, Patricia deSantos of Winnipeg, Rodney Hallgrimson (Lourdes) of Winnipeg, Coreen Oswald (Gordon) of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended relatives and friends. Lindal was predeceased by a son Donnie in 1990. A Celebration of Lindal's life will be held on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street Winnipeg, with Pastor David Saude officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the Bru Cemetery, Cypress River, MB. Friends that so desire, memorial donations may be made in Lindal's memory to the Faith Lutheran Church Fund, 1311 Dakota Street, Winnipeg R2N 1V8 or to the Bru Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, c/o Shane Jonsson, Cypress River, MB R0K 0P0.
