INGRID CHRISTIAENS July 29, 1957 - September 21, 2009 On Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre Women's Hospital with strength and courage, we announce the passing of our beloved Ingrid, a woman of independence, trust, integrity and dignity. She will be remembered for the wonderful sense of humour, faithfulness, and loyalty to family and friends. Born to Erna and George Wesenberg (predeceased by George January 28, 2005), sister to Peter (Cathy) and Sylvia (Walter), aunt to Toby, Mickey and Maxwell and a list of friends. Ingrid chose Gordon as her life partner and was married for 11 years before her passing. She was a devoted wife. She earned a Masters Degree in Food Science from the University of Manitoba in 1985 and worked for Inovatech as a manager. Family and friends are invited to a remembrance and joyful celebration of Ingrid's life at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009. Ingrid thanks her sister Sylvia Wesenberg-Kot and best friend of 35 years, Carol Ann Niven for being there for her. Thanks to the nurses, doctors, and unit assistants for the last month of care, and to all those who called Ingrid and sent best wishes. Ingrid was truly thankful.
