THOMAS S. TAYLOR It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Taylor on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre. Tom was born in Portage la Prairie on March 7, 1930. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Penny) and one son Tim (Kathy), granddaughter Kelsey and grandson Gavin. Tom was predeceased by his parents Frank and Janet Taylor, brothers Jim and Jack Taylor, sister Beth Taylor and niece Lori Taylor. He is survived by brothers, Bob (Lorraine) Taylor, Leslie (Doris) Taylor and Bill Taylor, by his sisters, Essie (Vern) Johnson and Judy Taylor also his mother-in-law, Betty Houle, and his close extended family, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. At Tom's request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service. A family interment service will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The family extend special thanks to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg for the wonderful care and consideration they received.
