(GEORGE) EDGAR OLSON November 29, 1925 - September 20, 2009 On September 20, 2009 Dad passed away at the Grace Hospital. He is survived by his twin daughters Linda (Tom) Crockatt and Edith (Ross) MacMillan as well as grandchildren Jay and Kyle Crockatt, Jody (Travis) Yeo, Jeff and Chris MacMillan and a very special friend Lorraine (Peter) Futros who Dad treated like his own daughter. Also mourning his loss is his sister Dorothy Fleury, sisters-in-law Agnes Olson, Barb Olson, Jean Patterson, Josephine Fruin, brothers-in-law Harvey (Evelyn) Buchanan and Allan (Jenny) Peterson plus numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his wife Florence in April of 2009, his parents Ole and Isabelle Olson, brothers David and Emil, brothers-in-law Hector Fleury, Bill Fruin and Jim Patterson as well as sister-in-law Audrey Buchanan. He was also predeceased by nephews Art Fruin, Robert Patterson, Lloyd Olson, Terry Olson and Dale Fleury. Honorary pallbearers are Ben and Ursula Elskamp, George and Jean Griffen, Lloyd and Lorna Clegg, Robert and Betty McGrath, Bill and Jackie Carter and Harvey and Evelyn Buchanan. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Stonewall on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the Woodlands Cemetery.
