MARIE ANGE GREGORASH (nee BRUNEAU) March 29, 1931 September 18, 2009 Our beloved sister and auntie Marie passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home at the age of 78 years. Remaining to forever cherish Marie's memory are her brother Dollard Bruneau of Lac la Hache, B.C. and her sister Theresa Manoussos of Prince Albert, Sask., plus numerous nieces and nephews. We'll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, she always gave us. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; parents Pierre and Hermina Bruneau; brothers Paul, Ferdinand, Antoine, Raymond, and Peter, and sisters Fanny, Adele, Exilda and Agnes. Marie was born in Winnipeg and raised in Lac du Bonnet where she spent most of her life. She married Bill Gregorash on May 28, 1949. Marie was very outgoing and musical and perhaps enjoyed the many gatherings and reunions with her large family most of all. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed long walks, and was a longtime parishioner of the Notre Dame du Lac Catholic Church. She enjoyed her work as a pastry chef until her retirement from Atomic Energy. In her later years Marie enjoyed traveling around the world. She took great pride in her sponsorship of a child in Africa and made a point of visiting her. Marie will always be remembered for her love of country music, singing and playing her guitar alongside her beloved Bill and his violin. For those who wish, public viewing will be held on Thursday evening, September 24, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Home, 437 Park Avenue West, Beausejour, Manitoba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church, 163 McArthur Avenue, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba, with Rev. Fr. José Montepeque, presiding. Interment will follow in the Lac du Bonnet Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the excellent care and compassion extended to Marie during her nine years in their care. We are most grateful. If friends and family so desire, donations may be sent to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home in Marie's memory. God reached into His beautiful garden and hand picked one of His most beautiful flowers
