TONY MATIATION It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Father, friend, spouse, uncle, and grandfather, Tony Matiation. On Friday, September 18, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 54 years, Tony peacefully passed away with Warren, Nicole, and Janet by his side. Remaining to forever cherish Tony's memory is his Mom Lena; son Warren (Nicole and their boys), Janet, Larry (Susan), Isabelle, family, friends and all that knew him. He was predeceased by his Dad, John. Tony was born on September 28, 1954 in Elphinstone, Manitoba. As a child he worked on the family farm, enjoyed trapping and hunting with his dogs. Tony will always be remembered as humble, loving, and everyone's buddy. Tony was a kind-hearted man, always full of advice, who loved inventing and improving ideas. He worked at Kromar Printing for the majority of his working career. He was blessed, along with Janet, to have a son, Warren, on March 8, 1981. Throughout the years it would be common to catch Tony fishing, or in the backyard building and repairing things. Tony always made time to help others and was eager to put a smile on everyone's face even if he had just met them. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. We would like to thank all that helped take care of Tony at Seven Oaks Hospital.
