DAVID RUSSEL WALLACE 1926 - 2009 It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother-in-law, uncle and friend on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 83 years. Remaining to forever cherish Dave's memory are his beloved wife Marion; sister-in-law Pat Kolomic-Strong; nephews John, Paul and Nathan; nieces Tricia, Jessica, Danica, Erica, Monica and great-great-niece Lucy Rose. He was predeceased by his parents, stepbrothers and niece. Dave loved life and had a wonderful sense of humour. He was an avid golfer, artist, great story teller, and a genuinely loving and supportive person. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place, with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson, V.G., presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to Mass. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dave's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6-200 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6.
