JOHN BURNETT John passed away on September 21, 2009 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by two nieces, Virginia Burnett and husband Jim Elliott of Winnipeg and Connie Anne Burnett Alton and husband Bill of St. Albert, Alberta. He is also survived by their children, Daniel Brautigan (Jessica), Christopher and Adrienne Alton, and Daniel and Jessica's son, Harrison. John was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and John, and his brother, Edward. John was raised in the West End of Winnipeg and graduated from Daniel McIntyre High School. He was proud of his work with the RCAF in the Second World War and had a distinguished career with the Canadian Wheat Board. He was a unique, intelligent, generous and kind gentleman. We will miss our Uncle John. Cremation has taken place and, at John's request, there will be no service.
