DARL WILLIAM DUNCAN It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darl William Duncan on Monday, September 21, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 61 years. Remaining to forever cherish Darl's memory are his mother, Rosaline Duncan; his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Karen Duncan; aunt and uncle, Betty and Vic Sobkowich; cousins, Gail Dromereski (Richard), Vicki Vannan (Jeff), Valerie Verity (Brian) and Vincent Sobkowich, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, William Duncan and uncle and aunt, Robert and Grace McSweeney. Darl grew up in the west end of Winnipeg and attended Principal Sparling, Sargent Park and Daniel McIntyre schools where he made many long-lasting friendships. His post secondary education was at United College and Red River Community College. Darl worked in the areas of retail and automobile sales, advertising and the courier industry. In compliance with Darl's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Special thanks to Doctor B. Gorski and the nurses and support staff at Concordia and Seven Oaks Hospitals for all their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
