GARRY ALLAN KARTINEN June 29, 1958 - September 23, 2009 Peacefully on September 23, 2009, Garry passed away at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB with his daughter Candace by his side. He was a beloved son, father, brother and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his best friend and companion Judy; his two daughters, Candace and Taylor; and grandson Chase; his mother Harriet; special friend Albert; sister Janice (Brian); two brothers, Alvin (Claudette) and Randy; four nieces; one nephew Brett; uncle Henry; special aunts, Alma and Dolly who cared deeply for him, along with his many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Garry was predeceased by his father Peter Earl in 1985. Garry was a very funny and kind hearted man. When he smiled his heart would be smiling through his eyes. He had a great sense of humour, was smart, helpful and generous. A private family graveside service will be held on September 29, 2009 at the Eriksdale Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Special thanks go out to all the nurses, support staff and Dr. Burnet of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for all their care and kindness. For those who have a brother, Treasure him with care.
