MARJORIE MARTIN (nee CAMPBELL) On Tuesday September 22, 2009, at the Betel Home, in Selkirk, Manitoba, Marjorie Martin, formerly of Sandy Hook, Manitoba, was called to Heaven to watch over everyone she loved. Marge embraced life fully, always believing that nothing was worth doing, if you didn't have fun doing it. Her smile was contagious and her laugher filled the room. Marjorie was born in Carman, Mb on May 3, 1921. She was one of six Campbell children, three boys and three girls. She moved between Saskatchewan and Manitoba and was married twice. She and second husband John were married on March 11, 1961. They set up shop in Winnipeg running a successful cleaning business for many years. Marge's sense of humour always brightened the day. Marge met each challenge with strength, courage and dignity and in doing so, she set an example for us all. Even on her most challenging days, she always had a positive attitude. Her husband John was very important to her and she always put him first. Her life and memories are cherished in the hearts of her loving husband John Martin of 48 years and her extended family in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Family and friends were blessed to have had Marge in their lives and will honour each day with her memory. She is survived by her husband John, in-law relatives, Ray Wolowidnyk and Elaine Kivisto. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, with interment to follow in the Gimli Community Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
