JOHN KLASSEN On September 27, 2009, John Klassen of Winnipeg, passed away at age 63 years. John is lovingly missed by his daughter Vivian; sons, Wade and Evan; three grandchildren; brothers, Abe (Marichen) and Tony (Darlene); sisters, Anna (Peter), Netty (Henry), and Pauline (Raymond). He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and one sister. John was a very dedicated Winnipeg Transit driver for 27 years, accident free. He had a great passion for sports, especially football. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, 922 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg with interment to follow in the Grunthal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 100-1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 1L8 or a charity of your choice.
