Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSIE MARGARET LUCILLE NELLE (nee GIBSON) Born in Waskada, MB on May 13, 1931, passed away at Ridge Meadows Hospital on September 25, 2009. Illness finally stopped a courageous heart. Jessie was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. She is survived by Horst, her husband of 52 years; son Michael and sister Verna Abel. Jessie worked for many years in the Nursing Profession where she demonstrated her great capacity for love and caring. Upon retirement she found great joy in writing funny and informative letters to those who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her immediate family, her many nieces, nephews and her extended family and friends. A celebration of Jessie's life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Ave., Port Coquitlam. Please join us and share your memories. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessie's memory may be made to B.C. Children's Hospital in support of sick children or to a charity of your choice.
