She leaves to mourn her parents Phyllis and Henry, sister Leah, brothers Michael and Joshua (Rose), as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Anita loved life. Service will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3 at the United Church, 1493 Magnus Ave. officiated by Rev. Margaret Muller. It feels weird to be writing a tribute here so long after she passed, but I think she deserves it for never having been able to meet me as an adult. I was put up for adoption at the tender age of 2 and so I have no memories of her at all. It wasn't until today that I found out that she's the reason I'm here. Mom, I'm sorry life played out this way and that you never got to see the person I'd become.
