JOHN ANDERSON SALSMAN After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of our beloved John on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 73 years. Remaining to forever cherish John's memory are his beloved wife of 53 years, Liliane; sons, Dave (Kathy) and Greg (Val); grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Courtney and Dexter; as well as aunts, Helen and June and uncle Stan. He was predeceased by his father Dave (Carrie); mother Viola (James); sister Edith Roberts and stepsister Janet Stackhouse. John was employed for 30 years with MacDon Industries Ltd., and had 20 years service in the Royal Canadian Air Force. A come and go service for John will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the MacDonald family for their kindness and support. We would also like to thank the nurses and doctors of Seven Oaks Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba (MacCharles Unit). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba (MacCharles Unit).
