GEORGETTE LEVEQUE It is with sadness that we say farewell to our dear mother and grandmother who left us on September 29, 2009 at the age of 86. Georgette will be dearly missed by her daughters, Marguerite Laramee (Leo), Louise Peterson, and Danielle Johnson (Don); as well as her precious grandchildren, Jacqueline, Christian, Vincent, Andrew, Kristin (Sean) and Samantha; and sisters, Edna Adamek and Irene Gosselin (Aime). Georgette came to Canada from Belgium with her family as a young child. In 1943, Georgette married Joseph (Pete) Leveque, who predeceased her in 1983. She was also predeceased by son-in-law, Tom Peterson. Georgette worked for the Hudson's Bay Co. for many years before her retirement in 1988. Georgette enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved animals and treated the family pets like they were her furry grandkids. She also enjoyed going on casino trips with her many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Goeke and the caring staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for looking after our dear mother/grandmother. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories of her life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Green Acres Funeral Home.
