Charlie served with the American Army Air Force during the Second World War and afterwards settled in Winnipeg to raise his family. His passion in life was his beloved golf. He was a member of the Bel Acres Golf Club for over 30 years and spent many winters in Texas enjoying his favourite game. He had eight aces in his time, scoring his last at the age of 80. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Heritage Lodge who cared for our dad in his most trying final years. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service is being held.
