Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT D. SKERRITT On Tuesday, September 29, 2009; Robert died at the Grace Hospital at the age of 89 years. Robert was born on May 24, 1920, he moved to Camper, MB with his parents and two younger brothers in 1936. When the Second World War started, all the brothers joined the army at different times. Robert got married in England, and when the war was over, he moved back to Winnipeg. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Marilyn in England; youngest son Sidney in England; son David in Winnipeg; brother Douglas in Winnipeg; along with his grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Robert went overseas with the Fourth Armed Division. A reception for Robert will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the A.N.A.F. #284, 3854 Portage Avenue. Interment will be held in the Field of Honour in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
