BETTY PATRICIA ADAMS Peacefully on October 3, 2009 at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre Betty passed away at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John, sister Ida, brother Bob and her parents Lily and Robert Day. She is survived by her sisters Jessie and Daphne and brother Leslie and many nieces and nephews. Betty was born in London, England in 1924, and immigrated to Canada in l948. She met and married the love of her life, John in l954 and together they farmed in the Manitou area until retiring to town in l972. Betty was active in the Order of the Eastern Star, Past Matron of the Manitou Chapter; member of the Manitou Legion Auxiliary as Past President and Treasurer. She was an avid gardener, loved to read and was always happy baking for all to enjoy, and making all kinds of crafts. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church, Manitou. Interment to follow at the Manitou cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Pembina Manitou Health Centre Graham's Funeral Services, Pilot Mound in care of arrangement. www.wheatlnd.com
