BRUNO PETER It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bruno Peter on October 3, 2009. Bruno was a man of great integrity, patience and faith. His family was his greatest love and joy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Rita. His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Anita, Brian and Walter; daughters-in-law, Carmele and Susanne; grandchildren, Ryan, Heather, Lindsay, Jennifer, Ashlyn and Erika; and mother-in-law Christine Sawotin. He will also be remembered with much love and respect by his siblings, relatives and friends. Bruno was born in 1936 in Drewal, Poland, and lived in Germany before he immigrated to Canada with his family in 1951. Bruno worked for 40 years in the electric motor repair business, and was a co-founder of B B Dynamo and Armature. He retired in 1991 and spent many enjoyable winters in Florida with Rita, and especially enjoyed summers at the cottage with family. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Czaykowski, and the many doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit, who provided such compassionate care to Bruno. A service in celebration of Bruno's life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota St., on Friday, October 9 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Bruno may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation Palliative Care Endowment Fund (237-2067). God has you forever in his keeping; We have you forever in our hearts. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
