AUGUST (GUS) JOSEPH GAGNE February 26, 1945 - October 4, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of August (Gus) Joseph Gagne, announces his passing on October 4, 2009 after a brief battle with cancer. Gus is survived by his beloved wife, Celia Gagne, his son Greg and family (Candace De Vos, grandchildren, Sarah and Madison), his daughter Sheila (Stan Wong), his brother, John Tovey (Rolanda). Also mourning are his in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Florida and Jean Gagne, stepfather, Francis Tovey and brother Alphonse Gagne, parents in-law, Marjorie and Edwin Christensen. Gus, a talented craftsman, made friends throughout the world and from all walks of life. He enjoyed spending time in his shop, at the camp on Lake of the Woods and watching the whales from the lanai in Maui. The family would like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Tim Wehner and Dr. Shannon Wiebe for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
