Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES G. PETERS 1924 - 2009 On October 1, 2009 at Victoria General Hospital, Jim Peters passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his loving wife (married 53 years), Greta; children Jack, Carol (Danyluk), Patricia (Roadley), son-in-law Philip and daughter-in-law Val; his grandchildren Heather, Sean, Tasha, Zak, Jasper and Logan. He was predeceased by two sisters, Helen and Kathleen. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Victoria General Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 61 Picardy Place, Winnipeg. Reception to follow. Donations may be made to Agape Table, P.O. " J.G." was never one to mince words. He was also never known to approach in silence. Always available for counsel, he left a lasting impression. When I was in university in the early 70's, I was frequently invited out for dinner with my Dad, Mr.Peters and other managers. There would be much discussion/argument about restructuring the offices, the policies,and personnel. Greta and Jim were great friends of my parents'. My Dad always had an amusing tale to tell of his travels with Mr .Peters.
