VITTORIA FIORINO January 8, 1922 October 3, 2009 Our mother and grandmother passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. Vittoria was predeceased by her husband Antonio in 1982, her daughter-in-law Shirley in 1984, also by her brothers and sister here in Winnipeg and Italy. She leaves to mourn her son Joe (Linda), grandson Tony (Leslie) and great-grandson Tony Junior, who brought so much joy to her life; granddaughter Vittoria (Joe) Hrgovic of Calgary, Alberta, daughter Rosa (Vincenzo) Spina and grandchildren, Luisa and Giovanni. Vittoria was born in San Giovanni in Fiore Italy on January 8, 1922 and came to Canada in 1954 where she has resided ever since. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Rev. Father Sam Argenziano celebrant. Interment will follow in Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Ashvin Shaw for his prolonged constant great care of our mother, also to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital 6A Medicine and Tuxedo Villa for her short stay there.
