LEA ALICE CONGRAM (nee Therrien) It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Lea Congram on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at University Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children Lionel (Noreen), Ron (Joan) and Brenda (Brian) and her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Lea was predeceased by her husband George in 2004. She is survived by her three sisters Millie Perrault, Flo Therrien, Renie Nesbitt, her brother Guy (Jeanette) Therrien, her many nieces, nephews and friends. Mother will be sadly missed, but she can rest in peace knowing that her love, wise counsel and guidance has guided us throughout our adult lives. Her sage wisdom left an indelible impression on us never to be forgotten. We wish to extend our profound gratitude to the Doctors and staff at University Hospital in Edmonton for their care and compassion throughout Mother's final days. A memorial service will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road in Windsor Park at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9. Fr. Fred Olds will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lea's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS 775-2220 in care of arrangements.
