ROGER BUHAY Suddenly on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in his yard, Roger, was called home to the Lord at the age of 76 years. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Alice; son Darryl; daughters, Donna, Alison (Bill), Dale (Sil); grandchildren, Ashley (James), Carly, Brant; and special niece Holly; brothers, Casmir, Gary (Margret); sisters, Josie, Gloria, Leona (Frank), Ruth (Dave) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Julia and Andrew; brothers, Mike, Mervin, Bernie; and sister Adeline. Roger was born in Brightstone, Manitoba on April 25, 1933. He worked in the construction and the plumbing trades and later as a maintenance engineer with the Hudson Bay Company, retiring in 1992. He was a self-taught jack-of-all-trades and a great handyman to all of the family. His home was his castle and his yard and garden his sanctuary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Drive with Fr. Thomas Schmied presiding.
