MARJORIE ALICE DELORME (nee PETERS) July 22, 1952 - October 2, 2009 It is with deep sorrow that we announce on October 2, 2009 our Mother, wife, sister, and grandmother Marjorie lost her lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis at the young age of 57. Peacefully with her family by her side she passed away at the Riverview Health Care Center in Winnipeg Manitoba. Remaining to forever cherish Marjorie's memory is her daughter Tammy; husband Rex Elliott ; grandchildren Glenn and Phillip Dzioba; pets Ebby and Muggins, who were like her children; siblings Joan Graham (Tom), Fred Peters (Gladys), Sharon Sirois (Jim), Karen Arnold (Mike) , Kim Cross (John), Don Peters, Jim Peters (Paula), as well numerous nieces and nephews, god-children and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Adolf and Mother Isobel Peters. She will be remembered for her devotion to her daughter, her strong sense of family, strong will and huge heart. Marjorie will also be remembered for her love of gardening and her love for the simple things in life. She wanted only the best for those around her, never asking for anything in return. Marjorie's funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lutheran Church of The Cross, 560 Arlington Street. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff of the Wellness Institute (respiratory clinic), and the staff of Riverview Health Center for their care and compassion in her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to either the Wellness Center at Seven Oaks General Hospital, 1075 Leila Ave. Winnipeg, MB R2P 2W7 or the Riverview Health Center Palliative Care, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
