FLORENCE FORGIE It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Florence Forgie on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home. Florence was predeceased by her husband George and her brothers Edward and Clifford Armstrong. She is survived by her son George (Kyra) of Peachland, BC; two grandchildren: Tamara Fairbrother of Peachland and Amber (Tim) Riley of Ferndale, Washington as well as six great-grandchildren. Florence was born on May 28, 1921. She was a life time resident of Morse Place where she attended Salisbury School and life long active member of St. Saviour's Anglican Church. She was a dedicated wife and mother. In keeping with Florence's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
