DAVID VOTH November 30, 1923 - October 6, 2009 Passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by four sisters and four brothers. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Sara Voth. David was a resident of Steinbach and area all his life. He was a respected instructor in several schools, including Grunthal and Greenland, but most of his career was at Steinbach Regional Secondary School, English department. He was treasurer for his church and the Steinbach Flying Club for many years. He enjoyed flying his own plane and travelling by car. Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach on Monday, October 12, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and at church prior to service. The funeral service will be in the church of which he was a member since a teenager - Mennonite Brethren Church, 340 Lumber Ave., Steinbach on Tuesday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Walter Fast officiating.
