JULIA KAHLIAN Peacefully, on October 3, 2009, at Lions Manor Personal Care Home, Julia went to her eternal rest and to be with her beloved Harry. Julia is predeceased by her parents Sophia and Daniel Kwiecien; siblings, Frances Kwiecien, Virginia Martin, Bernice Green, Carrie Bychuk, Min Ewach and Frank Kwiecien. Left to mourn her passing, her son Gordon (Ruby), daughter Geraldine Gerry (Gary Cutler); grandchildren, Reid (Gwenda), Colleen (Ravi); great-grandchildren, Deanna, Leanne, Sarah and Julia; sisters, Eve Thompson, Pam Iwankow; sister-in-law Gladys Kwiecien. Family was most important to Mom. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the special talents they possess. Special dinners with her super apple pie and perogies, the card games where she could still beat us all, and the special birthday celebrations with the girls. Julia was also a long time member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Many thanks and gratitude to the Lions Personal Care Staff for the compassion and outstanding care given to mother. Cremation has taken place and as per her wishes no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
