ELIETTE KELSCH (née LABOSSIERE) It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eliette Marie Kelsch (née Labossière) on October 4, 2009. Eliette leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 34 years Gordon; two daughters, Nicole Prokoppa (Devin) and Melanie Cotroneo (Frank); two granddaughters, Isabella and Jillian Prokoppa; brothers, Rhéal (Henriette), Robert, Rémi, Joe and Ulysse (Arlene); sisters, Jeannine (Roland), Rachel, Fern (Emile), Jacqueline (Paul) and Bertha (Leo), along with numerous nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Hector and Gilberte Labossière and brother, Hervé. The family would like to thank our many friends and relatives for their generosity, love and support. We would also like to thank Dr. T. Fatoye, the Oncology Department and nurses Kathy and Connie from the Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayers will be held on Thursday October 15, 2009 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue at 8:00 p.m. with Father Sam Argenziano officiating. Please write down and bring a fond memory or story of Eliette so the family may create a keepsake in her honour. A private interment will take place the following morning. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, Our hearts were almost broken, You fought so hard to stay, But when we saw you sleeping, So peacefully free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again.
