ABRAM REIMER Abram Reimer was born March 21, 1937 to Annie and Abram Reimer, one of ten children. He was predeceased by his son Albert; both of his parents; two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by the love of his life, Lois Amy; three grandsons and families; three stepsons and families; one brother and four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Abe was a man of many talents although a man of few words. He enjoyed repairing autos, building things, as well as cooking. His main hobby was going fishing (in a boat he built) with his wife Lois and then enjoying a fresh feed of pickerel. His fishing trips were curtailed for the last two years due to Lois's illness. He did manage a couple of them with his grandsons this spring, which he thoroughly enjoyed. On the last trip, Jeffrey learned how to filet fish. The family would like to thank all those who have helped us in the last six weeks, niece Marlene, and especially the care nurse Naomi Gerard, and Karl who showed us what the word friend means. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 with viewing one hour prior at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg. Interment Brookside Cemetery. We gratefully decline flowers, but donations can be made to Riverview Health Centre or the charity of your choice. 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Ample parking behind funeral home Condolences: www.bardal.ca
