Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDR. NORMAN CAMPBELL Dr. Norman Campbell, aged 89, passed away at the Grace Hospital, October 4, 2009. Norman Ebenezer Ross Campbell was born and raised in Fort William, Ontario where he resided and received his early education. Following graduation from the Ontario Agricultural College in 1944 and subsequent service in the Canadian Army, he began his academic career at the University of Manitoba where he received the MSc and PHD degrees in 1948 and 1960 respectively. During 40 years as a member of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, he contributed to all aspects of academic life, teaching, research and administration. He is survived by his wife Joan; sons, David and Ken; daughter-in-law Colleen; and the beloved grandchildren, Christina, Jeremy and Melissa. At his request, there will be no service of any kind. Floral offerings are gratefully declined. Contributions to charities of your choice would be appreciated.
