FRANCES IRENE JOHNSON July 23, 1922 - October 3, 2009 Frances, beloved wife of Bert, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Care Centre on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her sons David (Nadine) Johnson and their children: Jessica, Jaeger and Rakiya, and Douglas (Heather) Johnson and their children: Will, Zach, Rebecca and Emily; as well as her sister, Elaine Turpin and many extended family and friends. The family wish to express thanks to the staff of the Eau Claire Retirement Residence and the Chinook Care Centre Hospice for the extraordinary compassionate care they received, with a special thank-you to Frank McDonald. A Celebration of Fran's Life was held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
